A Song for Summer

so its literally been like forever since the last time I've written. I'm now 18 and treated myself to another ear piercing ty very much! ^_^ I'm working on doing AT LEAST one whole ear. My dog, Scamps, is in the house since its so cold outside burrr!

I've read a lot of books since I last got on here. Honestly, I can't even remember all of them, at least I don't think I can -.- But I love the Heart of Texas series by Debbie Macomber! Its so cute and well lets face it, cowboys are HIGHLY attractive! What girl doesn't fantasize about a guy whose comfortable with himself, doesn't expect you to be uber glamorous all the time, works hard, knows himself and is simple, AND is easy to please with food :P

I saw Sweeny Todd....THE DEMON BARBER FROM FLEET STREET and loved it. Oddly enough its really cute! There's a part where Johnny Depp is in one of those 1800s man swimming suits with the stripes :P

I 'found' a new band! A new favorite! Flyleaf. They remind of Evanescence in the way they have this female lead singer with a very alluring and beautiful voice but then heavier music in the background! *gushes*

So I pulled a filling eating a milkdud last wekk -.- yeah I was pissed! Had to get it refilled but I got to miss a day of school! WOOHOO!

Today's my Aunt Cathy's and cousin-in-law's, Chuck, b-day party ^_^ its at Bud's and I'm looking forward to food....teehee.

Well I'll write more later!

Books I can remember that I've read:

Vampire Diaries 1

Heart of Texas 1&2

Leave a Candle Burning

Beauty

Interview with a Vampire

Para Kiss 5

Her Majesty's Dog 7

the library is closed the rest of the week because of junior/sophmore testing. haha at least we seniors are exempt from the testing. Of course I started a new book this week ^_^ and I'm off every school night again this week YAY!

gaia is so boring anymore i've been thinking more and more of just leaving it. After all I'm getting kinda old for all that chat room crap anyhow, right?

oh, and apparently chi is moving to pittsburgh this summer. I guess we're all kinda growin' up and I guess it's time to start thinking about (seriously thinking about) ya know growing up and moving on. All this time that school has been in I haven't at all felt like a senior. I was kinda waiting for something to click on and be like WOOHOO senior but its more uh, yeah senior. I guess nothing's clicked because it did over the summer. That feeling of holy f*$king crap I'm growing up!

well that's pretty much it for now in Nina-ville. ttyl!

well school started yesterday...and its okay

I mean my classes are fine and all but I was just hoping that more of my friends would be in them. I need to get a schedule change already though because they put me in the wrong english class and I might drop my business info class because 1) idk what it is and 2) its freakin' boring already -.-

I'm hoping to get into a 1st period CP english class and maybe a study hall 4th or something...*sigh* but idk. I'm hoping I get called down to the office tomorrow to get it all straightened out.

anywho....there really isn't much else going on now...there's a lot of seventh graders on my bus UGH! our bus is pretty full considering how we've been the last few years...and Dr. Stern is getting even MORE strict *dies* w/e

at least I have first lunch with most of the ppl I did last year but I still miss C-rizzle and Abe and Jenn *tear* and all of us playing slap to the point we were practically killing each other >< but oh well at least me and Cassie can play Rummy in Psych class.

well....until I can think of something else to write I'm out ^_^ later

OH! and btw to whoever is/will/or has read Eclipse its FREAKIN' SWEEEEEET!!!!

Eclipse (Twilight, Book 3)

Okay so even though my summer hasn't totally sucked and I haven't been bored or anything its still been pretty lame in the 'excitement' department. And now its the 16th of August and well....I'm running out of time to do stuff *le sigh* and that's just one problem I have, haha, because I could at least rush around to do stuff....if I knew what I wanted to do....which I don't UGH!

However, I did just finish up the newest Stephenie Meyer novel and I gotta say I nearly cried! I know it sounds nerdy to actually cry or nearly cry while reading a book but you freakin' read the book, Eclipse, and we'll see how dorky it is when you're blubbering and snot it draining out of your nose like a 7 month old!

Hmm....can you all tell I'm in a writing/typing kind of mood? God when I get in this zone its nuts. I just hope I can make something of myself as a writer *grins* anyhow...I have the day off and I haven't watched my soap in oh....like a week and a half so...I'm off! Peace!

-always your loyal bored onliner *wink* Nina.
